This is a non-smoking property.
Remodeled, quaint 60's style beach cottage on the Outer Banks. One queen size bedroom and another built-in twin bed area. Nothing fancy, but almost perfect if you and a friend want to be by the sea.
Octopus's garden lyrics:
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden in the shade
He'd let us in, knows where we've been
In his octopus' garden in the shade.

El espacio
Very unique cottage directly across the street from the ocean
. It was originally built in 1963 as a solid wood construction A-frame. It is only 500 sq. ft. It was completely renovated over the past couple of years. The cottage is very small and the storage is limited. There are only a couple of tiny closets but there are small dressers and chests for clothes. There are
not a washer or dryer available; however, most everything else is there for a comfortable stay. Just bring your beach clothes for play and relaxation, along with a commitment to breathe deeply and think positively.

This cottage is a piece of "how the Outer Banks use to be" in the 1960's. A symbol of how I remember growing up along this beautiful coastal strand . Development and time have changed much of this once remote area and sea-shaped life. However, by coming to stay in this small and authentic little cottage, I hope it will inspire you to slow down, be present, and to feel the sky and breathe the sea.

Enjoy your stay .

It is directly across the street from the ocean. There is a beach access just about 100 ft north of cottage ;it is a dedicated town foot path over the dunes between the ocean front cottages to the beach . We are also located just north of the Avalon fishing pier in the town of Kill Devil Hills, NC.

Love the ocean, nature, and this good earth. Enjoy being outdoors, and staying active. (graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, so it's Go Tar heels!) I have lived on the Outer Banks all of my life where this powerful marine environment shapes lives and land. It makes me who I am: down- to- earth and sea. Try to practice lots of yoga, humility, and gratitude. Most grateful for my four children, who I love and adore. As a hostess, I welcome you to my world. I do not intrude on privacy and space, but I am always available should you have any questions or need anything. My home is very close to the cottage. I do not serve breakfast; however, I do provide a few breakfast items such as coffee, tea, and some fruit. My Motto: Love more, fear less.
