Prior to boarding, pose like a seasoned pro for a photo shoot with the airplane. Once you’re on board, the pilot will give you an overview of the instruments and controls. After getting clearance from the tower, you’ll taxi to the runway for takeoff. Once at cruising altitude, you’ll learn basic flying skills in the training area over the Simi Valley. Then, grab hold of the controls and feel free to move about the skies, exploring LA by air. Finally, in preparation for landing, you’ll come back down to earth at Van Nuys Airport. Other things to note IMPORTANT : This experience is currently only offered as a private experience. The guest has to book both spots on the experience and will be allowed to bring an additional guest to sit in the back seat. Only one guest will be in the front seat. Approximate flight time is 40 mins Expect a cancellation if there is bad weather. Only two passengers are allowed per ride to create a guest-focused experience.

OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE SURFING - whether its your first time or you're trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards (we don't use 'one size fits all' Wavestorm boards - we offer custom boards in a variety of sizes to fit your needs) and head down to the sand. For the first 20-30 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then it’s 60-80 minutes with an instructor in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun in the water. The classes are taught by myself or one of our great instructors. We usually have the 2nd instructor helping in the water when the group exceeds 6-7 people. We will take photos of you in and out of the water in the last 10-15 minutes of the experience. These are not professional pics but a great memory for you, your friends and family. We will be aboard a fully restored 1986 Electric Duffy Boat cruising through the canals of Historic Naples in Long Beach. This swamp land bought in 1907 turned into beautiful canals with multi-million dollar homes and lined with million dollar boats. The area surrounding Naples is home for great food, beer, and wine. We will sample some of these amazing treats from one of the first Long Beach Italian restaurant as we talk about how the area began and survived through earthquakes & strange politics. All this and supporting Music Saves Lives, a cause close to our hearts and will be close to yours too. Other things to note Please check the weather and dress accordingly. A morning hike to stunning city views, in a dog friendly park with our rescue dogs! Non-profit, all proceeds go to the very dogs you are walking, who are also up for adoption. We'll meet friendly people on the way and let them know about the dogs. A nice walk up hiking trails to the top of Runyon Canyon. Fantastic city views, and the perfect view of the Hollywood Sign! As you climb your way up the hill with your new pals in tow, you’ll be exercising and socializing the dogs, and letting locals know they’re up for adoption. You’ll also become a puppy paparazzi and take their photos in front of panoramic backdrops—you can even pose with them with the famous Hollywood sign behind you. Your pictures will then be used to generate interest in the rescue organization, attract potential adopters, and bring in donations that will help further care for and foster the dogs until they find their forever homes. So what we'll do: I will meet you at one of the most popular locations in LA - near the Griffith Observatory. This is a very interesting and beautiful place with a nice view to entire city. We will be able to take many beautiful photos near the observatory and mountains with a nice view. By the way, I know a lot of great spots for pictures there :) Also, I'll show you the Hollywood sign and we'll walk to the sign closer where I'll take few beautiful pictures of you. I'm sure that you'll feel like a local and discover the real LA vibe. Don't worry if you don't have much experience in front of the camera. I will help you pose and make the experience very easy, enjoyable and memorable. All my clients always praise me for easy communication, good atmosphere and the mood they get after. Be sure, that you will see several historical and interesting locations and get a great experience from the tour. Take in stunning views of the High Desert of the Mojave, accompanied by goats. We’ll meet our 15 friendly Nubian goats in their pens. They’ll wait for us to open their gate, and then these loving animals will show us the way. We’ll follow the herd at an easy pace into desert washes and onto boulders, where we’ll find beautiful spots to sit and chat—or simply gaze into the silence of the landscape, the gaping sky, and the goats enjoying themselves. We’ll walk about three miles and return with the goats after the sunset. We strive to integrate the natural wisdom of the llama with the cultural heritage of this intelligent creature by relating knowledge of the Andean cosmology and the Andean spiritual path. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, greet, interact with and communicate with our specially trained llama friends. This Experience is about llamas for wellness and educational proposes. We do believe in llamas as healers and messengers of Mother Nature (Pachamama). We want you to experience their medicine and help us on their training too. Safety is always top priority for guests and the llamas, so our program will be different on a winter day after a rainy week than it will be on a hot August afternoon. We will put you into situations where you will be able to understand who these llamas are, personally discovering the different personalities that make up our herd. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. Cat is international award-winning variety performer Vixen DeVille with 15 years experience in Fire Eating and Flame Manipulation. At the newly renovated Theatre 68 Arts Complex she will take you through the theory and safety precautions behind fire eating and body burning. We'll then actually light up the torches and explore this performance art fully with hand transfers, tongue transfers and of course, extinguishing the flame with your mouth. This is NOT an illusion! No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. I am offering an hour of meditation, breath work, sound healing and other relaxing techniques in the desert. As humans we are a microcosm of the macrocosm. We will be practicing on the beach in Encinitas (location flexible). I typically teach custom Vinyasa flow classes and before our class, I will ask you about your level, any injuries, and your preferences (are you a beginner or advanced, are you looking for a more rigorous practice to get a good sweat or something more gentle like yin restorative, or even a pre or post surf specific practice, etc.). All classes will include a warm up, shavasana cool down, guided Nidra visualization, and pranayama breath work. Start to end time can be anywhere between 1-1.5 hours (depending on preference). Guests should bring a mat (I can bring one if you don’t have one available), a light towel, sunscreen, water, and a bathing suit if you’d like to end class with a dip in the ocean. Following class, I can show you to the meditation gardens or point you towards some good local spots with recommendations for whatever you’re looking for during your stay (food, wellness, attractions, surf spots, entertainment, shopping, etc.). *Please be sure to bring water and sunscreen and wear comfortable yoga clothes (plus a bathing suit if you'd like to swim after).
