Zoo
“A must when visiting in the summer. Walking around the zoo and Lakefront is beautiful. Warning .....I tried to go to the zoo today (7/8/2020) and they wouldn't let me in without a reservation. They are limiting guest capacity due to Covid ....but it doesn't say they are requiring a reservation on their website?! Just make sure you make one, even though their website doesn't clearly say.”

“In the nearby hip neighborhood of Wicker park (still only 1.3 miles away). This place is a lively scene with a super cool bar and large outdoor patio making it a funky hipster hangout. Serving Mexican street food, it has great Margaritas and tacos. Regular chicken tacos, but all really cool stuff like tilapia and pork belly tacos. (If you go here, make sure you stop at the secret speakeasy Violet Hour across the street for a drink after.)”
