“This is my favourite restaurant for peruvian food, you can even find Cuy, Cabrito (a must!)... and even Cow tongue (Lengua de Vaca), are you brave enough to try it? :) From the famous Chef Gaston Acurio. Expensive and you have to be early, or you will have to wait. You can try to book in advance.”

Library
“Further away, this museum is in the city center of Lima. It regularly offers a temporary exhibition on the ground floor and permanently exhibits upstairs Peruvian works, from the pre-Columbian period to the colonial period. It is located in a beautiful garden with some Art Deco elements.”

“Isolina is one of the most popular restaurants because of its quality and true Peruvian flavors, a must. Some recommendations include arriving no later than 12:30pm, seeing as the wait for a table can sum up to 2+ hours if one does not arrive early. Also, each plate of food serves 2 people, which means going with a big group in order to try a little bit of everything is highly recommendable. Some dishes I recommend include: arroz tapado, lomo saltado, ceviche, seco de cabrito and to top it off, a suspiro a la limeña as dessert.”
