Multnomah Falls and other waterfalls and vistas of the Columbia Gorge are astonishing icons of geology, the sort that have inspired mythology and lore of warriors, gods and passions. We will drive out in our vans to meet the tallest waterfall in the state, and then drive to a few of the shorter but even more stunning ones, too; falls which could only be the daughters and sons of legend. In this half-day experience, we will explore wonders with some short hikes (totaling less than 2.5 miles/4 km) and visits to overlooks and vistas that will have you gasping in awe. While Multnomah Falls and its iconic Benson Bridge are together the most-visited tourist attraction in the Portland area, they are only a part of our experience. We will meet at our shop in inner SE Portland, where we'll ride in our comfortable Sprinter and Transit vans to the nearby gorge. Depending on weather conditions, we will visit a few small hidden waterfalls and spectacular plunge-style falls whose columnar basalt has us learning words for "amazing" in other languages. We'll also tell you stories, geology, botany and oft-repeated tales of pioneers and road-builders, but also the old stories we've learned, of gods and wild spirits and about the oldest North American civilization, forever altered by “manifest destiny." Come and spend a day at a farm and make art! We are a woman owned organic farm located near the Sandy River. We have converted a century old dairy barn into a ceramic studio. Let’s spend the day playing with clay and learning together. Here we have options based around your skill level and interests. I can lead you on the potters wheel or in hand building techniques. For an additional cost of $25 per person I will fire your projects in my kiln and you can choose a glaze color for your finished pieces. Guests will choose between black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, dark tea and scented teas from China at different tea tasting times. I have been in touch with tea since I was 10 years of age and it has always been a part of my life. I am a landscape architect and an enthusiastic tea artist. After I moved to America, my partner and husband Joseph singlehandedly built the tea house for me, according to my design. Everything including the slab table was made by Joseph over a period of two years. Now I would like to share with others this tea house full of love energy and my love of Chinese tea, the etiquette of drinking tea and interesting stories of China.

During our chocolate factory tour, you will learn in detail how we craft chocolate starting with cocoa beans and ending with wrapped and sealed chocolate bars. We'll discuss: 1. How cacao is grown and where it comes from. 2. How we clean and sort our cocoa beans before production. 3. How we roast, grind, and conche our chocolate to maximize flavor and aroma. 4. And how we temper, mold, and wrap our chocolate bars. We'll also get to examine raw cocoa beans, taste some chocolate in production, and sample a variety of finished chocolate bars with unique flavor characteristics.

We will teach you how to milk a cow. *At the beginning we allow you time to spend with the animals. Petting, brushing, or just hanging out with them. *Next we take you through what we feed our animals and how we care for them. We can talk about what goes into the cleanliness of the process and getting everything ready. *We will then go through the experience of milking the cow (whether by hand or with the machine, you decide). Allowing you to do as much of the work as you feel comfortable with. *Afterwards we will strain the milk and get it cooled and clean up. *Before you leave we will give you the opportunity to taste any of the products from our farm with the option to purchase milk at a 50% discount. *Congrats! Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.

To many, the world of Hasidic Jews is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience, you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals, and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community and being able to access places seemingly closed off and hidden to the outsider. An opportunity to be able to ask any questions about the Jewish faith, culture, and philosophy. We kick off the experience inside a Hasidic home, and learning about what it takes to keep a Kosher home. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. We meet at the Kauai Inn and I explain the instruments (drums) we're going to play. We start with simple beats and practice as long as everybody gets it. No worries if you never have been drumming before in your life. I also explain what the drums stand for in the community and how they were used in ancient Hawaii. After one hour of drumming, we start practicing the firedancing. The boys with the samoan fireknife and the girls with the mauri poiballs. We practice without fire for a while and who ever wants to light it on fire, is very welcome to try it (no worries I'll help you). You can take nice pictures and videos while performing with fire. Other things to note And again, if you are beginners, never drum or played with fire in your entire life, don't worry, in my class are all levels of drummer and firedancer from 5 years to 70 years old!

Snorkeling in a whole new way that makes it easier and more fun. Come jet scooter snorkel through the crystal clear waters of Hawaii on this adventure snorkeling tour. Anyone can do this tour as it is for beginners also. I will take you to one of the best snorkeling sites on Oahu to see sea turtles, tons of fish, sea life and dolphins. We will be using our jet propelled underwater scooter devices to create a fun and unique snorkeling experience, unlike any other! This tour will begin with a complimentary pickup from Waikiki at 2412 Koa ave, and a scenic drive to our snorkeling site approx. 30 mins depending which dive site we will be heading too. We will start with a discussion that will tune our awareness to the current planetary alignments of the zodiac and how they might be influencing us by way of Transpersonal Astrology. This is meant to help guests create an intention to explore as they move through their sound journey. Following this, participants will be immersed in several different soundscapes created by 3 Planetary Gongs, accompanied by a variety of other complimentary healing instruments. These Gongs are tuned to the frequency of the orbital speed of the planets in our sky and transmit to us their celestial energies and cosmic intelligence through sound and vibration. These vibrations will both surround the listeners and actively move through their bodies, connecting all the parts of one's Being-ness to the infinite wisdom of nature and the cosmos. A truly unique and universal experience that will open the minds and hearts of each listener leaving them with a sense of revitalization, rest, and renewal.

I am offering the perfect Las Vegas Strip experience for solo travelers, couples and groups, and families (as well as IG influencers and content creators) who want the perfect iconic Vegas photos! I will make sure that you get the perfect photos to show off your trip to Las Vegas. I will also share local insider tips for restaurants, shows, and off-Strip hidden gems. We will start by meeting at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, where we will capture the perfect photo of the iconic Bellagio fountains (with the Eiffel Tower in the background). We will then cross Las Vegas Blvd and get a wide angle shot of the Eiffel Tower. Our tour will continue to the Flamingo Habitat for a must-have shot with the High Roller in the background. We will then make our way towards Caesar's Palace, where we will get photos with the Trevi Fountain. We will finish off with some shots in front of the Venetian Hotel and the famous gondolas. This tour will be conducted by walking (approximately a mile and a half from start to finish). I am happy to take photos with my own iPhone 15 PRO (complete with wide lens) or with your personal device or your professional camera (on private tours). I will also edit three of your favorite photos for you! You will leave this tour with social media worthy photos from all locations as well as new knowledge of the hotels and spots we visit.

Upon your arrival to Oahu, you'll begin to see how surfing is Hawaiian culture. As you get into Waikiki, everywhere you look you will see surfboards...... It is now time to embrace your surroundings and let us show you the Hawaiian way. We will begin by introducing the details of the surfboard. Then discuss the fundamentals including positioning on board, etiquette, paddling, how & when to stand up, & what to do once you are on the wave. We will discuss ocean safety, awareness and safety. Once the land training is done, we will walk right across the street and enter the water, don't worry about carrying any surfboards, we have a cart for that. Once we are in the water we will guide you to the best spot to position yourself to catch waves. We will be by your side and provide the extra push to get on the wave. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, we can help all levels advance your skills on a surfboard and teach you about the area you are surfing in. After the lesson we will go back to the shop, have the barista whip us up a drink from our coffee bar, relax, and chat. Aloha! Welcome to "Under The Sea " A Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing Adventure. In this lesson you will learn the Art form of Hawaiian Reef - Three Prong Spearfishing. You will also learn how to identify Hawaiian Endemic Reef Fish, as well as Exhilarating Techniques to catch your dinner, and provide for your Ohana (Family). Meeting Location will be around Anini Beach. ( Specific Location Instructions will be sent to you after booking ) Once united we will promptly begin with a 30 minute safety & educational briefing. After that we will walk to our entry point and partake in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony. (A Hawaiian tradition passed down through generations.) Next we will start our 90 minute dive, and experience Hawaii’s Largest Barrier Reef. If we're LUCKY we will come home with exciting stories, unforgettable memories, and some dinner for the family.

Come and spend a day at a farm and make art! We are a woman owned organic farm located near the Sandy River. We have converted a century old dairy barn into a ceramic studio. Let’s spend the day playing with clay and learning together. Here we have options based around your skill level and interests. I can lead you on the potters wheel or in hand building techniques. For an additional cost of $25 per person I will fire your projects in my kiln and you can choose a glaze color for your finished pieces. You can choose to pick up a couple weeks after your booking or pay to have your pieces shipped.
