Coffee Shops
Im a bit of a coffee snob, so these are what i think are the best coffee places in the city, this list is not exhaustive, its just the best places i have been.
For me the Number 1 coffee shop in Glasgow, the owners are dedicated to producing the very best coffee every single time. Its the go-to place for me every day. Also do very good sandwiches and i also recommend the Pecan Brownie. If you go here tell the staff i sent you.

I absolutely love this place, all of the doughnuts are excellent and baked instore fresh every day. The choices change through the year, but one of the standards is Chocolate Millionaire, its actually just too good.

Finnieston Restaurants
The area the flat is located in is called Finnieston, which probably has the highest concentration of very high quality restaurants in the city. All of the these places are a 5 minute walk from the flat, i highly recommend you try at least one and also that you book in advance as they are very popular. Enjoy!
The food here is more a modern take on a Scottish menu. A few of my friends rate this as their absolute favourite.

Many Glaswegians consider this place the best of the lot, again its small plates tapas style designed to be shared. Always hard to get a table, so book well in advance.

This was the original good restaurant that brought all the rest to the area. Probably the best seafood restaurant in the city in my opinion.

Hands down, by a clear margin the absolute Number 1 Indian restaurant in Glasgow. If you only have 1 Indian whilst in Glasgow go here, you will love it.

The pizza's in here are very good and reasonably priced, good spirits and beer options. Good place to start.

Pub inspired by the movie, hence this place is famous for its White Russian cocktails and variations on this. Would recommend trying one while here.

Eusebi family have had a deli in various spots all over the city for generations, this place is top notch. Its a modern take on Italian menu. Also has great takeaway options from deli counter inside.

Located in the South Of Glasgow, mainly a residential area with a lot of great food and Coffee places such as Julies Kopitiam, Cafe Strangebrew, It All Started Here & Piatto to name a few. If you want to see traditional Tenement buildings of Glasgow, this is the place to see them. The Beautiful Victoria park is right here, which from the brow of the hill in the middle gives amazing views over the city.

If you want to see traditional Tenement buildings of Glasgow, this is the place to see them. Located in the Eastern part of City Centre, this area was previously warehouses and markets, hence the name. It’s now chocked full of great Restaurants and Bars.

This places does the most amazing sandwiches. All sorts of adventurous combinations, all freshly made before your eyes on a wide selection of breads or even as a salad of you prefer. Great for a healthy light lunch

This is probably the best museum of the lot. Its a beautiful building first of all. Inside the main entrance hall is a huge gorgeous ornate organ which is played reguarly. It has all types of art, the highlight for me being the Salvador Dali & Van Gogh paintings. All of the museums in Glasgow are free entry

A stunning building by architect Zaha Hadid. This houses the much loved by locals Transport Museum showing the history of Glasgow through transport. Would recommend a visit.
