If you're on the craft beer trail, The Alchemist Brewery is an obvious stop. There is often a line out the door, but no worries, it's full of happy people all stoked to be there for some Heady Topper, Fokelbanger and Crusher. Great merch you won't see anywhere else. Tip - plan ahead - The Alchemist is closed Sunday and Monday. Parking lot opens at 10:00am, Doors at 11:00.

A sheep pasture in the 1800's, this spot was popular with locals for picnicking and watching the sun descend "behind the spine of the Green Mountains" long before it was conserved in 1999 by the Stowe Land Trust. Located in Stowe Village off of Sunset Street or Taber Hill Road. Sunset Street entrance (walking directions): From the intersection of Route 100 and 108 in Stowe Village, head north on Route 100. Bear right onto Sunset Street and walk to the end of the street. The Sunset Trail is marked and begins off to the right. Parking is available on Main St or in Town. Parking on Sunset Street is reserved for residents.
