The fully-accessible garden park features special braille signage, raised planters, rose gardens and a rock fountain surrounded by a pergola. It is a haven for flower connoisseurs, bird and butterfly watchers. The park has spectacular views of Lake Ontario from the top of Scarborough Bluffs and is a popular spot for wedding photos.

It also has an interesting history that reflects famous artists, powerful political figures and contributions made to the art community. This park is only a 10 min drive from our home.
Take the Go Train into downtown Toronto and then cross on the ferry to the Toronto Islands. The Toronto Islands are located just offshore from the city centre and are home to parkland, the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Centreville Amusement Park, and Hanlan's Beach. The island is a popular recreation destination. There is a public bicycle sharing station operated by Bike Share Toronto at Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and bicycles and quadracycles can be rented at Centre Island. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats can also be rented on the island. A frisbee golf course exists on the island. The main beach is along the south shore and the beach on the west shore is clothing-optional.
