They have tons of rides for kids, and of course the Titan, Giant, and Bateman are awesome. If only the could find someway to keep us from having to wait in line! Slow days are definitely much better than crowded days, but we still have fun anyways. Food is way over priced so we always eat before we go or take sandwiches in a cooler to eat on way home.
The park is always clean and winter in the park is a nice treat. The snow hill was really fun for the kids since we never see snow in Texas.

The decorations are awesome and the entire environment will put you in holiday cheer.

This is one of my favorite spots in Dallas! My family and I love to come and walk this bridge. You get a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. You must check it out at sunset - the skyline is gorgeous!
If you get there early enough, you can find a place for your car right near the bridge. If not, no worries, as street parking is readily available along the Trinity River, it just makes for a longer walk. The good news is that it is all free.

Tickets for entry were $16/adult (senior citizens, youth and kids) and comes with an audio tour. It is well worth it. The museum centers on JFK's assassination and the events that occurred days before and after it.

A great place for a hike and its only 20-30 minutes outside of Dallas! There are numerous trails and a number have good changes in elevation considering its so close to Dallas. Trails are primarily shaded and are marked very well.

There's no trash laying around and people clean up after themselves very well. They have a roped off swimming area where it's shallow enough for kids but good for adults too. For an all day pass it's only $10 and it's worth it! You can also rent spots for camping or parties. Sitting back on the sand while kids are happily playing makes for a great day. Bring a cooler of drinks and don't forget your sunscreen. Guaranteed a great day!
