There is a lot of attractions in Ocean Expo Park with Churaumi Aquarium located near the Motobu Port☆One of them is the "native house" here. It is a mecca of typhoon in the Okinawan climate, so the roof tiles are solidified with stucco and made steadily. The high floor type prevents high temperature and humidity! 本部港近くにある美ら海水族館のある海洋博公園には、見どころがたくさん☆その中の一つがここ「郷土館」です！民家をそのまま保存して見学させてくれます！沖縄の風土では台風のメッカなので屋根瓦がしっくいで固めてあって堅実に造ってあったり、高床式なのは高温多湿を防ぐ方法が見られます！

おきなわ郷土村・おもろ植物園は海洋博公園の敷地内にある人気観光スポットで、地頭代の家ではお茶菓子の無料サービスや、三線の演奏や伝統的な踊りを無料で体験できます。 おもろ植物園には沖縄の在来種である22種類の植物が展示されています。南側、中央、北側の３つに分かれていて、それぞれのエリアで様々な植物を観察することができます。 Traditional Okinawa Village and Omoro Arboretum A traditional Okinawa village and omoro botanical arboretum is located in the Ocean Expo Park. At the deputy landlord’s house, free sweets, the experience of playing the Sanshin, and traditional dance is offered. Omoro Arboretum is gathered 22 kinds of plants which are native species of Okinawa among plants sung in collection of Okinawa oldest songs and ballads "omorosaushi".
