If you have the time to wander around, spending an afternoon going to Cacilhas and having drink/dinner at Atira-te ao Rio while the sun is setting over Lisbon is unforgettable.

The best Lisbon view! It's worth making the 10-minute journey from Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas. This waterfront district on the southern bank of the Tagus offers one of the most beautiful views of Lisbon and has several restaurants known for their fresh fish. That journey is made on a "cacilheiro," a single-hull ferry that does the public transportation service between the two sides of the river. As soon as you arrive in Cacilhas you can smell the fish being grilled, inviting you to take a break for a meal before visiting the Monument to Christ nearby.
