Nice park on the Tennessee River by downtown Florence with a manmade beach, restauranton the water (Stanfield's Riverbottom Grill!) picnic tables & pavilions along the water, disc golf course, fishing from the bank, etc

Bring a hammock, a football, fishing pole, or a book because doing all this by the river just enhances the experience tenfold. Perfect place for a picnic lunch. I like to jog here as well.

Pack a picnic lunch and head over to McFarland Park to take in gorgeous views of the Tennessee River, O'Neal bridge, Florence Harbor and Marina, and the Colbert County bluffs.
