Every Sunday evening, San Khong Noi Road known as Happy Street becomes pedestrian for a few hours and welcomes the stalls of large night market. A nice evening to do some shopping and eat on the run after buying your dinner among the wide variety of food stalls. Theres a stage with local performers and a place where locals come to dance in a very friendly atmosphere. Of course many arts and craft are on display, great place to pick up souvenirs. I really love the Chiang Rai Sunday Night Market since its exclusively of locals, foreign tourists are very very few.
