Opened in 1942, and after restoring and updating the equipment and infra-structure, the Coliseu do Porto has become the biggest theatre in the country and one of the best in Europe. With a repertoire full of big stars from all the arts (music, dance, theatre, opera,circus, cinema), the Coliseu do Porto attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators each year which not only culturally enriches the people of Porto but breathes new life into the city :)
