Basket Historical Society The museum promotes original historic research and encourages a greater knowledge of and interest in history, legend and folklore of the region. The Basket Historical Society is an active group which collects and preserves artifacts, maintains a collection of such which is open to the public, and preserves and maintains historical sites and structures in the area. It was established in 1980. Hours: 4th Saturday of the month, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day or by appointment.
