Complexo Esportivo de Deodoro - The Deodoro Sports Complex has five different sporting facilities. They are: The BMX Olympic Centre, the Hockey Olympic Centre, the Canoe Slalom Stadium, the Mountain Bike Track and Arena da Juventude. After the competition, part of the stage where Olympic medals will be competed for, will become the city’s second biggest leisure area, called the Radical Park. There, the canoe stadium will be turned into a public pool and the BMX Olympic Centre will be open to the population again. HOW TO GET THERE For access to Deodoro take the train and the BRT TransOlímpica. For those watching competitions in Radical Park area (BMX, mountain bike and canoe slalom), access by train will be through the Ricardo de Abulquerque station. Those wishing to arrive at the Deodoro Stadium and the Olympic Shooting and Equestrian Centres, should get off the train at the Magalhães Bastos station. The Magalhães Bastos stop on the BRT TransCarioca line provides access to all venues in the Deodoro Sports Complex. From the South Zone: integration between subway and train at Central station. From Santos Dumont airport: VLT to subway station Cinelândia, integration with train at Central station. From Galeão International Airport: integration between BRT Transcarioca and train at Madureira station. From the main bus station: VLT until subway station carioca, integration with train at Central station.

O Complexo Esportivo de Deodoro conta com as seguintes instalações esportivas: o Centro Olímpico de BMX, o Centro Olímpico de Hóquei, o Estádio de Canoagem Slalom, a Pista de Mountain Bike, a Arena da Juventude, o Estádio de Deodoro, o Centro Aquático de Deodoro, o Centro Olímpico de Hipismo e o Centro Nacional de Tiro Esportivo. Após a competição, parte do palco das disputas por medalhas olímpicas se transformará na segunda maior área de lazer da cidade, batizado de Parque Radical.
