Great park right on the water. Splash pad for the kiddos. Perfect spot for a picnic.

The annual Summerfolk Festival takes place the third weekend of August in Kelso Beach Park (during Covid it was spread around the city at various venues). This festival has a lot of charm, featuring an artisans' market, food vendors, many stages of music, all along the lakeshore of Georgian Bay in Owen Sound. Reserve tickets ahead, or purchase at the gate.

There is a splash pad here.

Right on edge of bay, walking trails. splash pad. playground, public washrooms, free park to enjoy bring a picnic or a coffee and enjoy the view of the bay. Swimming is a little shallow but good place to cool off.

This is a great place to visit with children. There is a sandy- beach, a great playground, and a splash pad. Last year there was even a food truck parked in the parking lot with amazing take-away food.
