It's one of the most charming and seducing sites in Piedmont! It boasts a 900 year old church, perfectly preserved, and a lovely 20 min. walk all around the imposing Benedictine monastery in which almost a hundred cloistered nuns live!

It's super tiny and quiet yet its magical vibes are so special. there are frequent boats from Orta that run every 15/20 minutes. On the island you can find a restaurant, the beautiful. basilica, the monastery and those typical alleys and architecture that blends history and fairy tales.
