This local monument presides over Bruton. Much less strenuous than a walk up the Glastonbury Tor, it still offers great views of the town. The top is a 15 minute walk from The Little House and you can go on a little further and eat at The Roth Bar or buy a picnic in the Hauser & Wirth farm shop.

Bruton BA10 0NS (14miles) The Bruton Dovecote is a limestone tower that was built between the 15th and 17th century. It has easy parking and a very short walk up to it where you get a good view looking over Bruton. The structure was once used as a dovecote, and may have been a watchtower at some point. It is a Grade II* listed building.
