The Basalt library has a wonderful children’s section/play area. It’s great to visit the library on a rainy day.

Music Series, Foreign Film Nights, great book and movie collection, classes and discussions, excellent online resources and a fun friendly staff to help you navigate it all. It's also a beautiful building with a gorgeous view.

Beautiful library right next to the creek. You can also enjoy their backyard trails to dip your toes in the creek or to explore a neat treehouse there. Tons of books, magazines, movies, and music you can enjoy there.
