Don`t be shy! It`s the best hotel in town - but a lovely experience to have Afternoon Tea in the Trois Rois - just enter the lobby and go straight ahead through the bar to the terrasse - great view!!

Enjoy a British afternoon in Basel: with delicious scones, dainty sandwiches, an assortment of tempting sweet pastries and a selection of aromatic teas. In the afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm in the Lobby of the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois.

Fanciest hotel in Basel with great breakfast as well for external guests (be sure to reserve in advance)

I've only ever been to the cafe here as it's on the pricey side, but even that was spectacular, so I can only imagine what a meal would be like with that spectacular view over the river Rhine. The Trois Rois is a Basel icon and definitely worth a visit, even if it's just to walk up and down their charming, but wonky staircases.
