This winery took my breath away the first time I walked through its doors into a cool stone wall room. There was a gorgeous tapestry behind a beautiful and very long bar made from a felled tree on the property. I was quenched and had not yet had a sip of wine. The wine was superb. The sommelier was the son of the owner and wine maker and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the vineyard and winery. The views of this winery are more from the inside than the outside. One of my three favorite McMinnville area "wineries with a view". From a review: "The Maysara Winery tasting room is a beautifully rustic space with a welcoming, intimate feel. The bar in the tasting room is the end-product of a massive oak tree that was felled on site, and the rough-hewn field stones from the property make up the ten-foot high walls. A beautifully detailed tapestry depicting the Persian poet Rumi reciting one of his poems to a group hangs behind the bar. The air itself is changed with warm light: it is a space designed to welcome and embrace. Pours were generous, and the wine - along with the entire experience - was very enjoyable."

Nestled in the foothills of the McMinnville AVA, our certified Biodynamic vineyard captures unique characteristics from some of the oldest soils in the state.

Beautiful 500 plus acre winery that uses biodynamic methods in their winemaking. The building and man made furnishings are made mostly from materials off the property including high pillars made from trees that support the high roof and high stone walls. Request to see the large winemaking / storeroom while at the tasting room for an amazing experience.
