The ancient celts still live on the Aran Islands, speaking Irish, and drinking pints with the locals...an easy and fascinating day-trip from the cottage. UNIQUE...a must-see bucket-list stop! nuff said.

They are famous for their geological formation, historical monuments and their linguistic and cultural heritage. The Irish(Gaelic) language is still spoken here.
