It is a tradition if you are living here to go and meet friends the Sunday morning at the Marché de Wazemmes. People just back from a long night will take a nap behind their sun-glasses drinking their last beer will delightfully mix themselves with early-birds, Sunday sport-fans and looking-for-the-good-deal grand-mas and grand-pas. Eat a nem or bring back home a roasted chicken or the famous tarte au Maroilles. It's a multicultural spot here. At least, have a coffee, at the terrace.
