This trail is perfect for a walk, run, or bikeride. It runs along the river through 4 small towns. Parking in Hallowell is easy and it's a great place to have lunch.

Accessible from Maine Ave. and Bridge St. in Gardiner (as well as locations in Augusta), this is a fantastic paved trail that follows the old railway and has gorgeous views of the Kennebec River. Perfect for walking, biking, skating, etc. Kid and dog friendly!
