Bhaktapur, the "City of Devotees," transports you back to medieval Nepal. Its narrow lanes are filled with intricately carved temples, towering pagodas, and traditional red-brick Newari homes. Artisans create pottery, wood carvings, and textiles in Durbar Square, a living museum. Sample the famous sweet yogurt, "Juju Dhau," and immerse yourself in the slower pace of a city steeped in tradition and craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a testament to Nepal's rich cultural heritage.

This is the oldest city of the Kathmandu Valley, which caters the interest of every tourist with less hustle and bustle of the city life of the Kathmandu valley core area. Very ancient art and architecture is observed here.

One of my favorite palace squares, Bhaktapur makes for a lovely getaway exploring ancient palaces and architecture. At the moment, the pottery square here is quite famous as you get to make your own piece of pottery and take back home. Also, you ought not to miss the "JujuDhau" which translates to the King of Curd. Its without a doubt one of the most delicious yoghurts you will ever taste.
