Take a break and visit this island famed for it's historical dacha houses set in parkland. Not many non- Russian tourist know of it, well worth a look. Filming of Russian Sherlock Holmes took place here.

You can have walk on Elagin Island, have a boat trip and also you can have a glance at Elagin Palace at the same time in the same place. That's georgeous.

My favourite park in the city. Absolutely beautiful in every time of the year. With gorgeous Elagin palace and nice cafés. With sports facilitates and playgrounds for kids, a zoo and the squirrels that eat nuts from the hand.
