Multiple award winning gastropub. One of the locals favourite places to eat and drink - old fashioned pub at the front and Michelin star worthy restaurant at the back. Good beer garden. Booking essential for dinner.

Gastro Pub in the centre of Truro. Parking is extremely limited so you are best to park in one of the city’s car parks ( the nearest would be the shoppers car park at the bottom of Mitchell hill. Or leave the car behind and get the bus into Truro. From the bus station, turn right (you will see The Old Ale House at the end of the road). Upon reaching the end of this road turn left, cross the zebra crossing and take the right hand fork, going past The Aga Shop. When you reach an offset crossroads turn right (a few lovely antique shops along this road). At the crossroads (with traffic lights), go straight over and up the hill. The Rising Sun is a little way up the hill on your left.
