Another lake near the Zum Schmied home vacation rental, aprox 5 km. To reach this place you can go with car, motor or walking. Stunning Alpen lake views waiting you there with the fresh nature and beauty forest.

This lake is so beautiful. It is Turquoise. You can get a train to Kochel and then a bus to the start of the Herzogstrand walk up to the top. Or if you just want the views take the chair lift up and do a more gentle walk. There is a beer garden at the top.

one of germanys most beautiful lakes. take the regional train to Kochel am See. From there you can take the bus to Walchensee (Lake Walchen)
