Bridgend Cottage Escaping to Happiness

Bridgend Cottage is a quirky Welsh cottage perched on the river Leri, it is built into a beautiful humpback bridge. Dol Y Bont is a small hamlet in a farming community. The cottage is the perfect romantic rural getaway. You can lie in bed and listen to the river running below the window. Outside the garden is on the riverbank or there is a balcony over the river. Our lovely old cottage retains many original features including low beamed ceilings. Sadly we are unable to accept guests under 12.

Gellibant Cottage, Breathtaking Rural Retreat

Gellibant is a rural remote peaceful retreat, with breathtaking views set in its own gardens within our working mountain farm. It has been recently fully renovated to the highest standard with all mod cons, whilst remaining in keeping with its traditional features and natural charm. Gellibant has unrivalled views of beautiful Cwm Nantcol, and the dramatic Rhinog Mountains. This charming property accommodates 2-4 guests. We also have a sofa bed (small double) in the snug for 2 additional guests.

The perfect base for a hiking, biking, fishing or beach holidays. Family friendly, the house has a large enclosed garden with a climbling frame, ride on toys, swings, slides and a sand pit. Dogs welcome. Patio has a large seating area, gas BBQ, fire pit and outdoor cushions. We look forward to welcoming you!

Situated between Aberystwyth and the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourful Georgian houses. The nearest village of Llanrhystud offers a post office and shop, a pub and petrol station with small supermarket. The property offers excellent wifi. The stylish newly built but quaint cottage sleeps 2-4, is spacious and comfortable with everything needed in a home from home. Beautiful countryside views can be enjoyed from the lounge and bedroom. The large south facing patio and enclosed garden leads to a lush meadow for stunning sea and mountain views. Close to Aberystwyth yet enjoying a peaceful and stunning location the setting is open countryside with delightful wildlife all around. A Stream nearby adds to the charm of the place.

Self-contained converted workshop

Refurbished workshop, set in the small, tranquil village of Taliesin, halfway between the towns of Aberystwyth and Machynlleth (ancient capital of Wales). The village is walking distance of the Wildfowler pub and award-winning Cletwr cafe and community shop in nearby Tre-r-Ddol. Above and around Taliesin are many beautiful woodland walks, it's close to the coastal path and short driving distance (or bike ride) to the popular holiday village of Borth and unspoilt beach of Ynyslas.

A single-storey detached property, our cottage is set back from the road in a quiet hamlet with views overlooking open farmland. Bounded by a stream, the cottage is comfortably furnished and offers a double bedroom, large fitted kitchen, shower room and a large living/dining room with sofa bed (small double). There is a wide screen HD tv with DVD player, dvd's, books and games. Patio doors open from the living room onto a small patio area with garden furniture.
