Our house is a half mile from downtown San Rafael. It is a 1/2 acre with goats, chickens, organic gardens,llamas and pool. It is a farm and resort all in one! We have a bay and city view from almost every room in the house. Wineries 20 miles away. Don't' worry if youre not intereted in the farm, the unit is far enough away that you will not be bothered by it. For those who love a good petting zoo, feel free to visit our friendly animals. A gated driveway and private entryway greets you as your arrive at your bucolic getaway. We are located next to a popular Open Space preserve great for hiking or biking. Both San Francisco and the Wine Country are 45 minutes away! Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young lived on this property when they produced their classic "Deja Vu" album in the early 70's. The album cover photo was taken under our special and majestic oak tree and the photo was developed in the dark room that is now the bedroom.

This separate entry room opens to a beautiful one-acre garden with a pool, jacuzzi, cable TV/wireless, and parking. We are just off 280 and Woodside Rd., 4 miles from Stanford. It is peaceful and quiet and we are hands-off hosts. There is no access to the house and the room does not have a frig, microwave or dishes. We are set up for independent guests who want to come and go on their own and enjoy local restaurants in Woodside, Palo Alto or RWC. Please note the very short entry door.
