Dieses urige Refugium liegt unweit der Mölltaler Gletscherbahn und vieler Ausflugsziele zum Wandern, Klettern, Ski/Wanderski, Kanufahren und vielem mehr. Ideale Aussteigerhütte Dich selbst und die Natur spüren. In der Nähe befinden sich die 3 Lunzer Seen, der Naturpark Ötscher-Tormäuer und wunderschöne Berg- und Wanderrouten ! Rad-Begeisterte finden am Ybbstaler Radweg besonders Gefallen. Mit Canyoning, Rafting und Flying Fox kommen auch Abenteuer-Suchende nicht zu kurz. In den umliegenden Restaurants, Gast- und Wirtshäusern werden sie bestens kulinarisch verwöhnt. Die Zufahrt zur Hütte ist über eine Schotterstraße mit dem Auto möglich.
