The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The Alpaca Lodge is a free standing stone building next to our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare), surrounded by our herd of friendly free-roaming alpacas and llamas, with stunning views of Kenmare Bay. It has a cozy bedroom with a king-size bed, a small seating area and en-suite bathroom. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, snack bars and biscuits are provided in the room, and there is a kettle, microwave, toaster and a small fridge, tea & coffee, cutlery & plates . AGE 12+

It's also an Ideal base for the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula. There's a 7kw EV Charging point and payment is per KWh used. Landsdowne Cottage Forest Garden

Landsdowne Cottage is a 200 year old estate cottage on the edge of 40 acres of nature reserve . We are a 35 year old forest garden planted with a variety of fruit and nut trees. Red squirrel can be seen in the autumn stocking up their stores for the winter. We are situated between the lakes, waterfall and ancient standing stones of Gleninchaquin Valley and Coornagillagh beach. We are ideally located to explore the stunning Ring of Beara, known for its rugged beauty and coast line.

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Glengarriff Lodge (formally Lord Bantry's Cottage)

Glengarriff Lodge, or what used to be Lord Bantry's Cottage, is a luxury self-catering space hidden away on a secluded, leafy island surrounded by 50-acres of ancient oak woodlands in Glengarriff, West Cork. The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature.
