The maximum depth of the lake is 37 feet inhabited by Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and Northern Pike. The public boat landing and public beach is located right across the street from this private apartment overlooking the lake. It is located 21 miles from Saint Croix Falls and 65 miles from the Twin Cities. Polk County Permit ID #77021

We've hosted hundreds of guests at our Mississippi home. We now offer a 1970 Boatel in spring, summer, fall. Safe access through our backyard. A shared dock. Kitchen, two beds, bathroom, dining room, deck. A glorious lighted bridge north & skyscrapers south. NOTE there are ice cream trucks across the river w some minor noise as they park.

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!
