Being off the shore of Lake Superior has it's advantages--it is quieter and at night so dark that if it is clear you can reach out and touch the millions of stars in the sky. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Luxury Yurt on Lake Superior

Stay in the only luxury wooden yurt on Minnesota's North Shore. Our yurt is perched on the rocky shoreline of Lake Superior. Walk the trails to the ledge rock. The yurt itself is open and calming. A well equipped kitchen and walk-in glass shower enhance your stay. Beds include a full bed in the bedroom and two twin beds in the loft. Adults only. The lodging yurt is near the caretaker yurt which features a small studio for free private yoga which can be arranged in advance.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
