Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. Newly open following extension and renovation! 'Tŷ Pérson' is an original Welsh slateworker's cottage in the heart of a UNESCO world heritage area. It's n the Braichmelyn area of Bethesda and you can walk down our road straight into Snowdonia National Park. It's been modernised and extended but retains original features and charm. It's in a perfect location for exploring this wonderful region: Zipworld is moments away, Anglesey is 30 mins away and Snowdon 20 mins away. Sorry but no dogs!

Bethesda village centre is within walking distance and has a Tesco supermarket (open 7 days a week until late), pubs and a good choice of takeaways.

Quality cooker, fridge and kitchen items. Sleeping 2 in a super king Feather & Black bed with Emma mattress, a z-bed is available if requested for a young child.

A converted quarryman's cottage from around 1870, situated in upper Rachub, in the foothills of Snowdonia: Bank's Cottage has stunning views from the main accommodation, taking in most of Anglesey from a viewpoint over 700 feet above sea-level. We're a two-minute drive from Zip World and walks and climbing in the glorious Carneddau are literally out back of the property: the Snowdonia National Park begins fifty metres the other side of our garden wall.
