The cottage sits at the highest point on the river, with a deck & fire pit overlooking the river providing a breath taking view from sunrise to sunset! Theres a cozy loft for sleeping, and a sun room where you can relax and read all day long. 1/2mile away you have access to 100s of miles of trails for hiking and ATVs. Within a 45 minute drive you have Houghton Lake, smaller lakes, splash pads and casinos, something for the whole family.

The house has three bedrooms, including a double bunk bed in one room and a master suite & central heat/ac A recent addition of a garage, entryway and loft have changed the look of the place. Located on a channel of Wixom Lake **there is NO LAKE currently** but there is access to Tittabawassee River for kayaking and fishing near by, as well as 1000s of acres of State land for RVs, hiking, hunting, foraging, and outdoor enjoyment. There is an RV rental nearby. This 3 bedroom cottage invites friends and fun for relaxation with a back deck, large lawn, hammock, and firepit. Located just 15 minutes from Midland and shopping.

Indoor Infinity Pool - Outdoor HotTub - Sauna

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Even though the property is only a few minutes off I-75, you'll feel like you're in another world. Only 15 minutes from Saginaw Bay.

Note: Wixom Lake is currently drained due to flooding & the dam collapsing in 2020. The river is approx. 100 yards out.

There are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors at this home. Enjoy breathtaking sunset views while relaxing by the fire or snuggle up on the sprawling deck and read a book. You can visit one of the nearby rivers where you can fish, kayak, canoe or tube. If hiking is your things visit a nearby nature preserve. Home is also located near ATV and snowmobile trails and hunting preserves. When the water returns home boast 280 feet of waterfront on a canal leading out into Wixom Lake.

Make some memories at this unique family-friendly centennial farm house in the heart of Amish country. We are centrally located between Clare, Gladwin, Harrison, and Beaverton. We are about 25 miles to the Soaring Eagle Casino and 30 to Central Michigan University. Enjoy our cozy one bedroom home that also features a sleeping, reading and rocking porch. No pets please, but you may be greeted by our farm dog Hank!
