The Old Chapel is tucked away in the small Dales village of Buckden for an incredibly peaceful holiday in a converted Wesleyan Chapel. It is ideally placed for exploring the local area on foot or bike. There are 4 pubs that serve food within a 2 mile radius with one a 2 minute walk away. Upper Wharfedale can be explored from the doorstep with easy riverside walks or more strenuous hikes up into the mountains. A short drive away are the villages of Kettlewell, Grassington, Skipton, Hawes & Settle

A beautiful converted Chapel, the old 'School House' has been restored with care and love to reflect the Victorian nature of its setting and its imminent proximity to the water and historic Fowey. The historic grade 2 listed former chapel in the Brecon Beacons National park, Bannau Brycheiniog, International Dark Sky Reserve, overlooking the Black Mountains. Surrounded by beautiful countryside it provides a great base for walking and exploring the stunning scenery. Nearby is the famous Carreg Cennen Castle and the historic towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery. The Milky Way is seen crossing the skies on moonless nights. There is a beginners telescope available for the use of our guests.

Stunning 4 BDR converted church full of history

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique space. Sleeping eight people comfortably. Three of the bedrooms have double beds. The master suite has a super king bed. All bedrooms have their own en-suites with full baths. The Old Methodist Church is located right on the Broadway and central to everything. A simple stroll to the Golf Club. Enjoy the local flavours of the local restaurants within walking distance. Staying at the Old Methodist Church is unique experience!

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Unique Church Conversion NO 1 DAY BOOKINGS

Energy Increase from Nov22 Unfortunately due to the huge increase in utilities I have to request an additional payment of £10 per day. Happy for guests to pay on arrival as I don’t feel Airbnb should be adding charges to what is an energy increase. Longer bookings preferred July and August. Happy to consider shorter bookings but please do not be offended if I do not accept. Please advise if sofa bed is required to be made up.
