Back in its earlier life this historical shop and the sweet cottage next door were part of the Broken Hill Meat Company business that owned and operated a number of butcher shops in Broken Hill. We have been told this building was the headquarters for the Meat Company. We have converted the old butchers shop into an eclectic studio apartment in the heart of Broken Hill, the very first heritage listed city in Australia.
