The railway station and bus station are close by. The Accommodation is upstairs with its own private entrance, no lift. Small outdoor seating area in pretty courtyard. Our Maple Lodge facilitates 2 bedrooms (1 double room & 1 twin room) 2 bathroom (en-suite shower & family bath) sleeps 4. Sunnydene Country Park is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire amongst a mostly rural open area that broadly follows the northern bank of the River Humber. It is located approximately 12 miles west of the city of Hull, and close to the towns and villages of Brough, South Cave and Elloughton. The area retains its strong heritage and extensive historical connections.

The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

In addition there is a sofa bed in the living room, so this cottage can be occupied by 2-4 guests. The private and prettily planted courtyard has seating and a BBQ. Please note that as this is a period property the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and very steep and would sadly not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
