In 1882, George Braun shipped German carpenters and a Bavarian woodcarver to the Texas frontier to build his mansion. Their hand-carved fireplaces and ornate pocket doors are still here — waiting for you. The Braun Manor is one of only five true historic mansion rentals in all of Texas, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Eight bedrooms. A grand Ballroom. Fourteen private acres with seven waterfalls, a pool, and a private pond. The whole estate is yours.

DISCLAIMER: Our property manager lives in the back house 100 yards from the house. You will have 100% privacy but is there for any immediate needs.

Located 1/3 of a mile from Choctaw in Durant, OK, making it a great place for concerts and other events at the casino. The house has new decorations and furnishings. Great place to just relax and enjoy your time in the Durant area. Pool is in service by mid-May.
