Minutes from river access in Ponca for floating the Buffalo River. Also close to scenic hiking trails such as Compton, Hawksbill Crag, Lost Valley, and more! You can either stay in and relax with satellite TV, Smart TV, WiFi, and Bluray player, or venture out to explore the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Or do both!

Upper Buffalo/Boxley Valley only 45 minutes away. HVAC and wood-burning or enjoy the cool evenings with windows open and ceiling fans running. NO HUNTING

Get away from it all at our newly built cabin on the Buffalo National River park. It’s private but close to great hiking, canoeing and eating spots. Grab a book and a coffee and enjoy peace and quiet--and mountain views--from every room. You might also spot deer, hummingbirds and rabbits from our two relaxing decks! Pets are not allowed and will be required to leave immediately. Rates are based on guest count. Please include an accurate count when booking. It will be verified on arrival.

It’s not a maintained trail so it can be overgrown and rocks on path can make it hard for littles. Close to waterfalls and hiking trails and an old homestead built of hand hewn logs. Center point trail, Compton trailhead, hideout hollow and more! Ponca is close and highway 43 where you can watch Elk!
