The Lodge has free parking for cars/buses and free hi speed fibre wi-fi broadband. Only 10 min from the City, 1 min from Shops, Pubs, Off Licence/Liquor Store, 2 minute walk to Regans and local shop/store, 5 minute away from Corrandulla & Annaghdown. We can organise tours of Connemara, Cliffs of Moher, Westport and Galway City including evenings out to Galway City to Pubs/restaurants etc. We can also collect from Dublin, Knock and Shannon. Spacious Contemporary Chalet type Apartment.

A newish build, at just a mile and a half (2.6km) from Eyre Square, my place feels as if in the middle of the country. It’s a separate, self-contained, completely private extension to the main house. Having your own transport is preferable, with lots of parking space around the extension/chalet. Other than food, everything else is provided. Do not book our space if you want the buzz & noise of the city, as we are on its outskirts.

Ballindooley Castle

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels

Cosy Claregalway Cottage

A comfortable holiday cottage just outside Claregalway, offering a quiet countryside setting with easy access to Galway City and the west of Ireland. The cottage sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms, with additional sleeping available in the living area if required. It’s well suited to families or small groups looking for a practical and relaxed base for exploring Galway, Connemara and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Fully off grid experience including solar powered hot water and a modern Scandinavian dry (compost) toilet. Upon arrival you are provided with a fully charged battery, powered by solar panels on the roof and a reservoir of treated rainwater harvested on the roof for washing.
