But even the most discerning guests will be quickly spirited away by the rustic charm and secluded forest feel. The Chalet sleeps 4 people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The Chalet is located approx. 4.5hrs from NYC by car and is the perfect place to: escape the city, rekindle a romance, ski/ride Whiteface Mountain, hike, fish and so much more!

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Riverside Cottage

Our fully equipped seasonal cottage is on the Salmon river 15 minutes north of Malone and close to the Canadian border. We can provide info on visiting Montreal as well as the Wilder Homestead, fishing and hiking trails. We have an appetizer or home made soup waiting for guests on their arrival. We have bees and are pleased to show how we are nurturing our hive. Our gardens are beautiful and guests are welcome on both properties. As Super Hosts we do our best to make your stay memorable🌻

Old Wood Hollow Retreat (Farm)

Located an hour outside of Montreal, Old Wood Hollow is a brick victorian homestead nestled far from the road, deep in the woods. With 100 acres to explore across hay fields, an orchard and a wooded trail, the modern farmhouse (complete with a built-in generator and a heated floors) offers a respite from the city. *Pool opens June 20th & closes on Labour Day. 100 year old 70+ acre family farm. This is a small upstairs apartment with one bed, one bath, kitchenette on a family farm. Owners are empty nesters and live on first floor. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful area. Walk the 70+ acres and feed the animals. We are right on U.S./ Canadian border. One hour to Vermont and Montreal. Stairs are on narrow/steep side getting up to apartment. Be aware this is a functioning farm. Chickens and other animals roam the property.
