Pop down to Benny's for fresh bread, cakes and our world famous apple tarts! Breakfast, lunch & barista coffee served daily. Castlerea is a vibrant market town with great amenities. Just 7-10 minutes walk from the great heritage town of Athenry, cafés, bars, shops, playground, medival St Johns castle & heritage centre.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

The Cottage

This is a cosy house, fully insulated, with central heating complemented by a solid fuel stove, with kindling, turf and firewood provided for your convenience to provide cosy evenings as the night draws to a close and you unwind for the evening.
