Boat House - Tiny House Oceanfront Resort

The Boat House is a finely crafted tiny home designed like the warm hull of a boat, with wood beams and ocean views. Enjoy a cozy living space, full kitchen, fast WiFi, and bathroom. There are two lofts, a primary with a queen bed, accessed by a custom staircase, and a second with a double bed accessed by ladder. Relax by the fire, BBQ, or explore the water included kayaks & SUPs. Perfect for a couples retreat or small families. No pets. Discounts applied for stays longer than 1 night.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!

Off-grid riverfront guesthouse

This is a special riverfront setting directly on the Cabot Trail. Use it as your launching point for Cape Breton adventures of beaches, waterfalls and hiking. Wake up to birds chirping as you sip on your coffee in a cozy timber frame cottage overlooking the banks of the Margaree River. Our property, along with the guesthouse is completely off-grid and 100% powered by solar. There’s pathway to the river for swimming and kayaking. Private wood fired forrest sauna.

Our rate is $260/Night plus a one time cleaning fee of $70. BOTH of these fees include the 14 % HST, (Sales Tax) and the Provincial Hospitality Tax. Book 7 days? Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
