Our farm store is stocked with our own TX Longhorn beef and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, plus curated with local products. This spacious peaceful and private home on 5 acres is great for unwinding & relaxing whether it is enjoying the day by the incredible pool/spa or stargazing at night. Far from the noise and pollution of city life. You can spend a weekend or a week away from work life because you deserve it. Close to Foxwoods casino and Mohegan sun casino, super Walmart and other stores. Please let us know before booking more than 4 people whether it is just for the day or night or both. Wake up to the morning sun over the lake in the loft, or rise after the sun in one of the two back bedrooms. Enjoy a morning coffee or tea while enjoying the lake view from the live edge bar top overlooking the water and watch for the Swans, Bald Eagles, and Blue Herons. After a hike on the trails, kayaking up the lake into conservation land, or fishing off the dock, relax in the hot tub. As the sun sets over the trees cuddle up on the couch with a good book and keep an ear out for the owls.

Our Little Lakehouse

Please come and relax at our little lake house. Nestled at the end of a dead end on one of CT’s cleanest lakes, Columbia Lake. Purchased in the summer of 2024; the entirety of the home has been professionally renovated. A quick 15 minute drive to both UCONN and Eastern, the property is both secluded, but not too far from the beaten path. Close to local bakeries, antiquing, biking and walking trails; you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing time away. You’ll love Our Little Lakehouse.

Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. The entryway is private with a lovely porch that is a great place to sit with your morning coffee. Hiking trails can be accessed from the property.

Our one bedroom apartment in a colonial barn has a country feeling but is a 10 minute drive into downtown Hartford, and halfway between Boston and New York City .There are woods on one side and from the living area look out on a hillside where you can sit for a spell or spend some time on the private stone patio right outside the door. There are beaches and casinos within an hours drive.
