From Corso Umberto I, where you can park the car, you can only reach the house on feet by taking a narrow street and several flight of steps -as is the case with most accommodations in town- but it is definitely doable. It is located in the center of the mountain town of Chiaramonte Gulfi,right in the front of town hall,at the end of a courtyard where parking is free.About 100-200 meters away are all the various shops,bars,restaurants,the main square. It is a "real house",welcoming,equipped,well heated.The large vaults,the huge terrace and two further rooms under stone arches in the basement make it special and with a charms all its own. The hostess decorated it with particular pieces.

A metal gate two fields away leads you into the land, where our neighbouring farmer grazes his cows and goats amongst the ancient carob grove.
