Historic Georgian Flat with Community Garden

It's filled with light and spacious for a one bedroom apartment. It's filled with fun things that I have collected over the years, so it comes with bags of my personality! It's quiet - especially the bedroom which is located at the rear. I like cooking, so the kitchen is well-equipped. Bring your tunes - there is a nice Sony bluetooth speaker to connect with! Access all areas - I keep the cellar and a filing cabinet in the bedroom locked for my own bits and pieces though. On arrival, I prefer to meet my guests in person to get you settled and share my local recommendations that fit with your plans and timing. New Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and carefully protected from new development. It supports a lovely mix of residential property and boutique retailing, including tons of coffee shops, private galleries, restaurants, and interior design shops. Bus stop round the corner and tram stop 5 minutes away at St Andrews Square. 10 minutes walk to the main railway station, Edinburgh Castle and the very heart of Edinburgh. Taxi rank 5 minutes walk down Dundas Street and taxis usually available on the street too. Please note my TV works via the internet so you can view BBC iPlayer/Netflix/Amazon content only. The bed is a standard double i.e. 4 feet 6 inches wide and 6 feet 3 inches long (137 x 190 cm). The bed will be made up ready for your arrival including 4 feather pillows, a duvet and a warm throw. An allergy free pillow and a hot water bottle can be found in the chest of drawers. I supply two large towels, a hand towel, a dish towel and a bath mat for each booking.

One of the most picturesque and oldest areas of Edinburgh with its narrow cobbled streets steeped in history. The outlook over the village and the river make this a rare and sought after setting. Dean Village is the most idyllic central location in Edinburgh with Princes Street being only a short 6 min walk away. Haymarket train station is within walking distance of the apartment.

This quaint and unique place is close to Dunfermline town centre, Pittencrieff Park and a short walk to both bus and train stations for access to Edinburgh etc. Dunfermline has many historical sites including an abbey. The flat is situated on a quiet residential street with free on street parking. Guests have the use of the property owners garden and patio. The flat has it's own rear access with security lighting. Little Rosslyn is a lovely detached self-catering studio which sits in the grounds of our family home in the centre of the village of Stanley, Perthshire, gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The studio has been recently renovated and sits back from the road on a quiet street and within walking distance of local amenities. There are lots of walks from the property where you can explore our lovely village and local area or why not hike up one of Perthshire's many Munros.

The Lodge, Heath Park

The Lodge is the two storey annexe of Heath Park which was one of the holiday homes of Beatrix Potter. It is within easy walking distance of the rail station and intercity bus stop. A car parking space is also adjacent to the house. The Lodge has been recently refurbished with a new ensuite bathroom and kitchen and new furniture. It is accessed through the main gates of Heath Park which lead to a stone gateway and small hard landscaped area.

Bijou by the beach

Beautiful one bedroom flat in Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside town. Ideally located for a relaxed stay and long walks on the beach, Nicola and I have lived here for 10 years and think it’s the perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. Only a short bus or taxi ride into the heart of the city, Portobello is the best of both worlds. To get to the beach just walk under the bridge and straight down Brighton Place and Bath street. It’s a 7 min walk.
