Perfect for two families or groups of up to 10 guests, with estate walks and frequent wildlife sightings, including red squirrels, osprey, roe deer and pine martens. After a day exploring, relax in the outdoor hot tub under the Highland sky.

Stable Cottage is situated in a secluded, peaceful 4 acre private woodland, just outside the picturesque village of Garve on the North 500 Route. An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Cottage was once used as the horse stables that served the local estate. It has been tastefully renovated to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms. Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage

Culnaskeath Farmhouse Cottage is an extension built in 1993, and blends in with the original house (1860). It's a cozy cottage with a wood-burning stove, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The upstairs landing has a desk and single bed. The house has views over to the Black Isle, the Cromarty Firth and across to the Cairngorm mountains in the south. Behind our house are six miles of forest tracks. From these, you can see Ben Wyvis in the west.
